Signing an extensive cooperation agreement was one of the highlights of this year's CeBIT for Vodafone's Test & Innovation Center. In addition to the test networks for 2G and 3G technologies that have already been in use a long time, Intel Mobile Communications commissioned Vodafone's Test & Innovation Center with the realization of an LTE test network for the Nuremberg premises of its 100% subsidiary Intel Comneon GmbH.

High-Capacity Test Tools for Performance Tests Ensure High Quality Standards

Daily test practice repeatedly shows that realistic results can only be expected if all the components involved are operated under full load. The realistic simulation of a high load in the test network is therefore one of our standards.

For this purpose, in its test networks, Vodafone's Test & Innovation Center implements load and stress tools and load generators that it has developed itself, which can take the network and the systems to be tested to their capacity limits. We offer these tools for a number of network elements in the telecommunications and core network and are pleased to also support all suppliers, developers and manufacturers who are interested in a high degree of system reliability and compliance with high quality standards.
